Any one know enough about metalwork to discuss to the process for making a metal bodied instrument...commercially or in a small shop?

Thanks,

Geoff

Sooner or later Mike Dotson will probably respond as he has some experience at this. There is a great photo essay on MIMF and some other information in the archives there. I think you can browse this essay without a logon so I'll post it. Usually I'm ready to make just about anything and this makes it look so easy, but I hated metal shop and doing body work so I'm taking a pass.

Sorry I ain't been around much. The MIMF library is still the best place to go, lots of good stuff particularly Chris' essays, I never took many pictures.
Anything else you need feel free to ask here or email me.
